Autism Specialist

Autism Specialist – Level One
Make connections with what you have learned in your masters program with real life experiences in the field.

Autism Specialist – Level Two
Celebrate the completion of all trainings and the demonstration of all basic competencies! Begin shadowing school-based and clinic-based behavior analysts as they perform their essential job duties.

Autism Specialist – Level Three
Spend the final stage of your fieldwork experience working alongside school-based and clinic-based behavior analysts by performing the essential job duties of a behavior analyst under close mentorship.

 

Pass the Big ABA Exam

Behavior Technician

Behavior Technician – Level One

Behavior Technician – Level Two
Congratulate yourself on completing all of the required trainings!

Behavior Technician – Level Three
Demonstrate competency in implementation of techniques with the option of becoming a Registered Behavior Technician® (RBT®) through the Behavior Analysis Certification Board.

Lead Behavior Technician
Be selected by management for this position based on your skills but also your positive and welcoming attitude and mentorship abilities.

Licensed Behavior Analyst

Work alongside eight clinic and school-based BCBA®s and BCaBA®s to provide high quality individualized ABA services. The ABA clinic prides itself on providing highly individualized programming and scheduling to meet the needs of families while maintaining a clinician  caseload size that allows for frequent observation and oversight of services.

The setting allows for collaboration across many providers including special educators, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and physical therapists. The variety of programs offered at Crossroads allows the behavior analyst to tailor a treatment plan to the child’s needs by allowing for opportunities for individual services, individual services in a group setting with typically developing peers, and social groups.

Services predominantly occur in person at the clinic located in Schenectady between the hours of 8:00AM and 4:30 PM, with a minority of services offered online or in homes.
